Why Survey?

Most people “survey” every day. In the broad meaning of the word, to survey simply means the careful examination of something, as a whole and in detail. To look over a menu, to check out clothing shops, to decide what to cook, what to eat or what to wear on a date, we check things out, sometimes more carefully than at other times and may ask someone what they think.

In marketing terms and public relations, “survey” refers to very carefully examining public opinion in regard to an idea, product, or service. Actually, you can survey to find out how people think about anything— From the latest software idea to gourmet food, from the most romantic song to what they fear most in the doctor’s office. I have surveyed it, found out, and used it in campaigns. This results in the best information you can have to promote your business.
