Marketing Misconceptions
Many of you may have had marketing or advertising failures in the past. These tend to stick with us and we shy away from doing anything remotely like that again. There are some main problems in marketing to address that will drastically affect your strategy:

Not able to define what you want to achieve in your marketing. A vague idea will give you a vague result.
PRACTICAL DRILL: Define it in writing.
Write down exactly what you are trying to achieve in your business. Then write down exactly what you are trying to achieve in your life. Then write down any barrier or difficulty you have had reaching what you want to achieve.
Here is a real example. The person in charge of marketing or the finances for marketing says “no” to every marketing or promotional action, thus nothing occurs.
Use as a rule of thumb to allocate at least 10% up to 15% or more of your income in your marketing budget every week. This will build and come back to you many times over in new customers and sales, if done correctly.
